CARE ASSISTANT

Duties

Are you a caring and thoughtful individual?

Are you patient and able to spend time with someone who may be lonely?

Can you help someone with a bath/ shower?

Can you make a basic meal, eg. toast, eggs, heating up ready meals?

If Yes, then we believe that you are the right person for the team! We want someone reliable. Our clients depend on our team of Carers/Support Workers to help and support them with the activities of daily living, allowing them to remain independent in their own homes.

 

Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant

Promote and safeguard the well-being of clients in every aspect of your role.

Always respect client’s rights to privacy, dignity, choice, independence and quality of life.

Work in co-operation with clients and their relatives, in order to identify their unique strengths and needs. Always be alert to opportunities for clients to develop their potential and achieve personal growth and fulfilment.

Requirements

English Speaking 

Good recording and writing Skills

Empathetic and friendly personality.

Full Driving License and own car (preferably.)

Consent to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Self employed carers are welcome to apply, as well.

Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, however applicants with no prior experience (Full Training will be given) are free to apply, as long as they have an  empathetic and friendly manner and a willingness to learn.
